Camp Amicus and Recreation Programs provide fun, experiential education programs focused on social skill development for children and teens with Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD ages 8-18. Summer camps include overnight and day camp options.

The PREP Program
Day Camps for Children with Down Syndrome
Day Camps at PREP create a welcoming environment for our students to come spend their days off with old friends and new. We explore different themes with visual art activities, sensory and pretend play, music and dance, gross motor activities and cooking. Our therapy-centered camps are focused on various therapeutic goals and will be supported by one of our therapists on site. If your child would benefit from 1-to-1 assistance, we welcome your respite or community aide at camp.

Trico Centre for Family Wellness
Inclusive Summer Camps for Children and Preschoolers
Trico Centre offers a wide variety of sport, nature, science, and other themed camps. They work with an Inclusion Facilitator who is available as a support to all leaders/campers Monday through Friday (all summer!). If a child benefits from additional 1-on-1 support, a caregiver and/or aide is asked to attend.

Pathways Pedatric Services
Speech and Language Summer Camps
Our camps are designed to provide intensive intervention to assist children with communication development during the summer months. Each camper will participate in both small and large group activities designed to improve communication, attention, social interaction, fine and gross motor skills.
Ages: 3-8
Mount Royal University
Summer Camps
Offers a variety of summer camps for children and youth. Accommodations are available to registered campers with documented conditions who face barriers in the camp environment: Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) and Cognitive and developmental disabilities. If your camper receives support at school/home then an Aide/Support worker is strongly recommended to participate in the program/camp.

Just Keep Swimming Calgary
Swim Camps for Children with Neurological and Developmental Disabilities
JKS camps are low ratio small group week long sessions. We run in a max 3:1 child to instructor ratio. We are not a 1:1 camp. If your your child requires 1:1 please phone to discuss possible options if you are interested in camp for your child. (We do allow aides to attend camp with campers). Participants swim everyday and other activities include: rock climbing, trampoline park, hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing, field and sports games, and luge.
