Counselling for Families and Individuals with Autism

Autism Calgary provides counselling with a Registered Provisional Psychologist with experience and knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and mental health. In-person and virtual counselling is available for Autistic adults, teens and children (ages 10+), Families (parents, siblings, partners, etc.), and Residents across Alberta.

Pan-Disability Caregiver Support Groups
As part of Autism Alberta’s Family Resource Centres, our Family Resource Coordinators host support group meetings for parents of children with any disability.
Ages: 18+
LGBTQ2S+ Support Group for Adults with Autism
Autism Alberta hosts an inclusive safe space support group for LGBTQ2S+ Albertans. Connect with other adults on the autism spectrum.

About this Organization

If you are a parent/carer of a child/adult with any developmental disability in Alberta, the Family Resource Centres (FRC) can assist you in the following ways: SUPPORT to navigate and manage FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) and PDD ( Persons with Developmental Disabilities) programs. GUIDANCE handling FMS (Family Managed Services) contracts under PDD (e.g. how to find and hire staff, planning yearly goals, managing documentation etc.) WORKSHOPS. COMMUNITY.
